  I asked my husband to take our daughter to get a hair cut here. My husband asked her to cut off split ends and add layers with a face frame. My daughter came home crying saying that the woman (dark hair, short height with tattoos) brushed through her hair very fast and if she reached a tangle she would push the brush right through it without warning or making sure she felt comfortable. I completely understand the need to brush through tangles before a hair cut. However, making sure your client is comfortable and happy is a must! She is 10! She also told me that the stylist repeatedly told her how tangly her hair was and even muttered "ew" while brushing. I am shocked that this kind of behavior would be tolerated at a workplace! My daughter is a very sweet and polite girl and she did not deserve that kind of service! She had a sleepover the night prior to that at a friends house and my husband picked her up and directly went to great clips for the hair cut (being a man with little hair, he does not notice the difference between brushed hair and tangled). It's unfortunate they had been treated that way because we've been going there for all of our kids and ourselves for years. Needless to say, we will never be there again!!!
